Scope: Complete Home Renovation – Bathroom, Ensuite (Project 1318 – Kitchen, Laundry, Flooring, Painting)

Brief: The brief began with the clients wanting to update the look of the two bathrooms to be a more modern style. Visually the clients wanted to create a cooler space, focusing more on using whites and greys.

We decided to create a different style from the kitchen space, whilst still creating a coherent home. The clients wanted to create more open feeling bathrooms, with larger showers and vanities. Changing the existing corner showers into walk in showers with frameless glass made the spaces feel larger. A freestanding bath replaced the original built in bath, allowing more floor space to be visible and creating a feature for the space.

A built out shelf running along the shower wall in the Ensuite allowed for a concealed cistern toilet, making the space feel more elegant. The larger vanity allowed for gorgeous top mount basins and plenty of bench space.

Using kit kat tiles as a feature, each end of the two rooms has the floor tile up to 1200mm and then kit kat tiles above.
