Brief: The clients wanted to create a larger master suite to replace their current formal living and dining rooms. We switched their existing bedroom to be a sitting room, and renovated the two other rooms to create their dream retreat. Visually, the clients wanted to create a classic space to tie in with the era of the house, but also wanted to be a bit bolder with their colours.
We decided that using a bold blue for the vanity and brass tapware would bring a contemporary style to the bathroom. Using shaker cabinetry, subway tiles and encaustic look tiles created the classic style to match the house.
