Location: Warrandyte
Duration: 6 weeks
Budget: $30-50k
Scope: Kitchen
Brief: Once a dark, cluttered kitchen, this space received a new design based off three directions: more comfort, more storage and more functionality.
The bright blue subway tiles in the arched alcove create a pop off colour and contrast to the timber cabinetry. The large window allows lots of natural light into the space, making it feel less cramped and dark. Two pendant lights hang above the bench, and lighting is provided by the hidden rangehood in the arched alcove. Large four tier drawers created easily accessible storage, in addition to the side cabinetry.
