Project 1134

Location: Malvern East

Duration: 6 weeks

Budget: $30-50k

Scope: Bathroom

Brief: The design for this bathroom was completely created by the client. They wanted to create a show stopping bathroom by including a large glass picture wall. The client had a strong idea as to what they wanted: picture wall, cube tiles, grey tiles, brass fixtures and a red toned timber vanity.

The brass tapware creates the perfect warm tone to stand out in this bathroom. Keeping the floor tiles a simple light grey allows all the attention to go straight to the two feature walls. The white rubix tiles create a subtle textured tone to the room, and creates another feature without being overwhelming.

A subtle marble benchtop pairs perfectly with the warm timber of the vanity, and creates a stand alone item to the room. The round mirrors carry the brass tone up the wall, and also reflects the glass wall to carry the colours throughout the space. The large walk in shower and freestanding bath create the perfect layout for the space, and make the bathroom feel super elegant.

From concept to completion, this bathroom brought great excitement and energy, and creates an exciting space for this house.
